You'll received reminders in the app as you approach the day of your Modern Animal’s procedure. To ensure your pet's safety and comfort while under anesthesia, please be sure to administer the pre-surgery medications (Gabapentin, Cerenia, Omeprazole) the day before and day of the procedure.

Unless instructed otherwise, there should be no food intake within four hours of the procedure drop-off time. Water is ok. You may bring some of your pet's food with you in case they would like a snack while they're with us. Expect to spend 10 minutes completing patient intake for the procedure. Pick-up will be coordinated individually based on recovery and other medical factors.

If anything is unclear regarding a scheduled procedure, send us a chat through the Modern Animal app. We are here to help.
